The Summer Food Program for Children offers free meals for children and teens up to age 18. Meals are also available for adults up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled.

The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan sponsors the program, which seeks to feed kids who rely on school lunch programs, but may go hungry while school is out for the summer.
