Live in the Pub

Q-90.1 is your green spot on the dial where you can enjoy some of the finest Irish, Scottish, and Celtic music performed up the street, around the corner, and across the country. Hosted by Siusan O’Rourke and Zig Zeitler, this hour is focused on not only enjoying and learning about some of the best Irish and Celtic music being performed today but also giving air to some wonderful in-pub Interviews with those musicians making it happen!

Wednesdays at 1 pm

Audition Room

The Audition Room features mostly brand new releases in a variety of musical styles. We offer a menu of classical, jazz, world, folk, ethnic, the occasional “moldy-oldie” as well as random off-the-wall selections. We give the upper hand to local artists and sprinkle in some musical commentary, a bit of musical history and trivia.

Thursdays at 1 pm

BackStage Explorer

BackStage Explorer is an interview and music program that highlights local and regional arts and humanities groups. We feature performing arts as well as a variety of cultural groups in the region. We welcome visitors from historical groups, libraries, nature center, symphony, band, college, theater, etc.

Saturdays at 1 pm

La Calienté 90.1

Mike Mendoza, a.k.a. “El Gueroman,” hosts La Calienté from 1 pm – 3 pm Saturdays. The show consists mostly of Tejano music which originated out of San Antonio, Texas, but Mike’s been known to play some Carlos Santana and other types of Latino music once in a while.

El Sol Latino

Join Amy Guzman for an hour of Latin pop and dance music Saturday afternoons at 3:00.
