The Korean War: Voices from the 38th Parallel

This Veteran's Day, Delta Broadcasting will proudly honor military service members with special broadcasts on Q-TV and Q-90.1 FM. As part of this special event, you can honor your military family and friends by including their names and photos in our broadcast.

Veterans Day Specials on Q-TV

On Saturday, Nov. 11, starting at 8 pm, Q-TV will show two of our award-winning local documentaries - Vanishing Voices of World War II and The Korean War: Voices from the 38th Parallel. We will also be showing a preview of our local documentary, Vietnam Voices: Mid-Michigan Remembers the Vietnam War, coming to Q-TV in May 2018.

In all three of these documentaries, we gave local veterans the opportunity to share their war experiences by telling their stories in their own words. We're dedicating this night of programming to all Americans who are serving or have served in all branches of the Armed Forces.

Honor Your Military Family and Friends

During our Veterans Day specials on Q-TV and throughout the day on Q-90.1 FM, we're reading names of service members as our way to thank them for their service.

Submit names to matthewmurphy@delta.edu. Please include the following information for each person you would like to honor:

  • First and last name
  • Dates of service
  • Hometown
  • Military branch
  • Military rank
  • Photo (Optional)

The deadline for submissions is Monday, October 23.
